... an entirely new persepective on renovation

Testimonials

Having an attic Conversion is a major decision and expense. I had no recommendations, so it was down to the Golden Pages. l narrowed it down to about six local companies, who all inspected the attic. One piece of advice I was given was to not choose a company that can start immediately. This will probably mean that they don't have much work, and the best companies are always busy, and you will have to be prepared to wait. We did have to wait for Fearnattics, but it was worth it in the end. There are many reasons why I chose Aboutspace. They told me that the stairs would fit without knocking a bedroom wall down (some other companies said that the third bedroom would have to be made even smaller to accommodate the stairs). Some of my Neighbours have had their attics converted already, and I was not impresses with the over all floor to ceiling height. Fearnattics assured me that my conversion would gain me extra head room as they would install a recessed suspended floor. The representative had a lot of good ideas to maximise the space, while also listening to the ideas that I had.

Our attic conversion did take slightly longer than estimated, but we did have some extra work done. During the quotation process, out of all the companies we looked at, we got the impression that Aboutspace would be thorough, not cut corners in their work and would provide us with a conversion we could be proud of. We were proved to be right and found them to be very hard working, trustworthy and honest, enthusiastic about their work (nothing was too much trouble). Most important of all, the costing they gave us was the costing we paid (we did have extra work done which they calculated as work progressed ). We are so pleased with the end results, that is why l have written this reference, and allowed Fearnattics to use some of the pictures on the website.
